On Tuesday, the Literary Noon Salon, which is an Intellectual Literary Feminist Group, organized a literary meeting at the headquarter of the Press House- Palestine, with the presence of a number of intellectuals, literary and writers.
Dr. Mai Nayef, the facilitator of the meeting along with Dr. Iman Abu Shaban presented the novel of “Two Readings of the Night Mail”, wirtten by the Lebanese novelist, Huda Barakat.
Dr. Nayef talked about the incidents and the literature drawn from Barakat’s imagination. Which forms the roots of the contemporary Arabic Literature.
Dr. Nayef, the founder of the Literary Noon Salon said that: “The novel includes the details of preserving writing and mail, and its relation with the calm night.
She also confirmed that Noon Salon’s conducted meetings enhances its resilience, after being destroyed by the Israeli airstrikes on Al-Khazendar Building, in which the main office of the Noon Salon was.
The cultural Noon Salon holds a continuous literary sessions per month, which aims to discuss novels and short stories.
