The Press House-Palestine concluded its training course on Journalistic Editing, which went on for 5 days from 14-18 April 2019. The training course had targeted 17 of female and male trainees, who graduated from Media schools of the Palestinian universities in Gaza City.
The course was presented by Mr. Hasan Jaber, a Journalist at Al-Ayam Newspaper, who briefed the trainees on the methods of writing and drafting News stories in objective manner, selecting titles،conducting interviews and press discussions.
The training course included a practical aspect, where each trainee prepared press news and reports, through conducting interviews and discussions under the supervision of the course trainer. Their prepared news and reports will be published later through Sawa Agency.
In the closing day of the course, the best three press reports had been honored, as the trainee Mohamed Al Sakani obtained the first rank, while both Jawaher Hijjo and Hasan Jaber obtained the second rank.
This Course came under the Project titled ” Towards Independent Media Platform for Capacity building, Awareness, and Involvement of Journalists,”, which was funded by the Norwegian and the Swiss government.
