15/10/2017--- Press House Cultural Salon organized A literary evening in the presence of a group of writers and Novelists , to lunch “ Snicker of Desire “ collection of stories for the author Mohammad Nassar.
The Novelist Doctor Atef Abu Saif managed the session, in which Dr. Abdelrahem Hamdan, Professor of Literature on AlQuds Open University , talked on with the academic critic Siham Abu Alamarin.
Before the author started to read examples of his collection of stories , both of Dr. Hamdan and the critic Abu Alamrain represented a critical readings on the collection were it talked about the technical different sides and topics in which the author wrote in his collection.
In his turn the author said to sawa that his collection of stories “Snicker of Desire “ talking about the social and political situation in the Gaza strip and in the arab region in general.
Also he clarified that he talked about the situation through stories which holds symbols, sometimes fantasia, or traditional dresses according to the text and the situation which it formed by the text.
The collection were published on “ Alkhuta” publication house, on 70 pages contains 15 short stories , which talked about the social and the political reality.
Nassar pointed that his main goal from this evening and the entire collection of stories is to bring youth back to read stories, he said, “ like what they say Gaza produce short stories and orange, while youth stopped to read stories and poetry , we want to motivate the youth to bring back the short story to it’s previous position “
In his turn Dr. Abdelrahman Hamdan praised the collection of stories and what it contains of social meanings and the simple language that he used .
He also added : “ The author expressed in his collection the social reality in which the Palestinian community lives during the division and the blockade”.
In her turn, the academic and critic Abu Alamrain said, the Collection title “Snicker of Desire “ Establish to a bilateral will to face the other aggressive person and it express that the desire gave existence.
The audience from writers and novelist discussed the collection of stories , exchanged notes about what “Snicker of Desire “ talked about , they also praised on the collection and Mohammad Nassar’s biography and his excellent work in writing.
