12/10/2017, Youth media team implemented a youth media meeting about the Palestinian Media Specially youth, along with the political efforts to complete the reconciliation.
The team hosted Mr. Mamoun Swedan, Youth Consultant for President Abbas , Engineer Kayed Jarbou, President of the general union for youth organization, and Dr. Haifa Hassouna , University lecturer and a member of Youth Employment Fund .
Swedan talked about the reality of the Palestinian Media and how it’s important in supporting the reconciliation.
Jerbu Also talked about youth activities which implemented by organizations interested in supporting youth activist to complete the process of the reconciliation, as Youth play a very important role in uniting the two side of division.
In her turn, Hassouna talked about the main rights that Media student and journalists should know in order to get better job opportunities qualify them to integrate into the market or in any future Palestinian national government, so that youth rights would be reserved.
At the end of the session the audience gave the quests their questions and inquires with a great interaction on the topic of the meeting.
This meeting came as part of the activities implemented by the media youth team, aiming to Strengthen the Journalists and Media Youth to support the reconciliation, and to raise their awareness about the importance of media on effecting the public opinion.
