Gaza, 15/08/2017--- Israa University of Gaza announced about the kick-off of the " United Nation& Palestinian Issue- Challenges and Chances" Conference' activities, which will be held on 6th, 7th , Feb 2018 in Gaza.
During the conference, 0Dr.Ahmed Jawad Al-Wadeya, Head of Conference, stated that the conference aims at studying the opportunities that could be invested for the Palestinian cause' interest and the challenges Palestine faces in applying the United Nations' decisions. He added;' the conference came within the frame of the leadership role of universities in enhancing the scientific research."
Wadeya indicated to the importance of lobby towards applying the decisions issued by the United Nations for Palestine; where the last one was the International Security Council for stop settlement.
In term of Wadeya speech, the conference aims at introducing the United Nations as international organization and its connection with the Palestinian cause, its roles as well as the most sufficient challenges the United Nations faces in finding a just solution for the Palestinian cause.
He noted that the conference seeks to set the available opportunities to invest effective and just role of the United Nations toward the Palestinian cause.
Al-Wadeya explained that for the importance of this conference, special committees have been formed to supervise the implementation of the conference, led by Dr.Adnan Al-Hajjar and Dr.Ahmed Jawad Al-Wadeya.
He also stated; " the higher committee has been formed of 27 academics and researchers from various universities and local7 international research centers in ( Egypt, Britain, USA, India, Malaysia, Jordan, Lebanon) headed by Dr.Osama Abu Nahel. Meanwhile, the preparation committee has been formed of 20 members of academics, university staff, and many experts headed by Alaa Hamouda.
Al-Wadeya asked to necessarily participate in the conference, saying; " the room will be opened to all researchers all around the world, where the researches can be accepted in Arabic, English, and French.
He also explained that since the conference kick-off, the summaries of researches can be approved till 10th, September 2017. In advance, the researchers will be informed of the higher committee response on 25th, September,2017.
Furthermore, he confirmed that the researchers whose summaries are accepted have to submit their final researches on 25th, November 2017, where the final selection will be on 25th, December,2017.
The conference is held on Tuesday and Wednesday 06,07, Feb 2018, where publishing the approved researches will be at Israa university upon the jury criteria.
