Gaza, 15/08/2017--- Press House concluded a training course about " Journalistic Photography" on Monday.
The course was led by the photographer Neaaman Shtewi, who opened the course talking about the basics of photography, types of cameras and lenses and how to use light when taking photographs.
The three-day training course included practical tasks, and taking photographs from different angles, where the 17 trainees were commissioned to take photographs during a set-in in the place.
Meanwhile, the trainer shtewi trained the trainees on how to make edits on the journalistic photo via a special application.
At the end of the course, the trainees have been commissioned to make visual storytelling and submit them after one week of the course's conclusion. Then, a jury committee will select the best photo taken to be the best journalistic photo as an output.
On the last day of the course, the trainees thanked the Press House for organizing such courses that include practical tasks, confirming that it's the best way of enhancing the theoretical side of training.
Worth noting that this course came within " Journalist Capacity Building" Program and one of " Enhancing Freedom of Expression, the Quality and Independency of Palestinian Media" Project's activities.
