Gaza, 09/02/2017---- Press House-Palestine concluded on Thursday a training course on “ Journalism Ethics& Standards”, which targeted 32 journalists of both genders, within the activities of “ Promoting Objective Media 2” project, funded by Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung.
The four-day course was led by the journalist Mohsen Al-Ifranji, a lecturer in the Islamic University of Gaza.
The trainer explained many topics regarding the journalistic ethics and the social responsibility “concepts and basics”, objectivity in media work, and the international standards of media work.
The course also included the ethics of Palestinian media, where two journalists were hosted including Mr.Nedal Al-Moghraby, the head of Reuters office in Gaza, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Baba, the Cameraman for the French Agency for News.
At the end of the course, the participants launched a hash tag called “ Journalism_ Ethics_ Our Priority”, where they tweeted on social media about the ethics and standards of journalism.
