Gaza, 06/12/2016--- Jack Beren, head of Gaza Envision 2020 program, has announced the start of the program, which supports living conditions in the Gaza strip. This came within a press conference held in Press House in the presence of a number of journalists, companies directors, and organizations in Gaza city.
In his speech, Mr.Jack said; " This project is an essential part of Gaza Envision 2020 program, which aims at Supporting the marginalized groups of the Gaza Strip and facilitating their access to food and non-food items during crisis, through working with the partner institutions in responding to the emergencies.
He added; " the second aim is to Help the youth and women to get practical skills and temporary job opportunities through living gain project that includes the following services.
Mr.Jack asserted that the project provides job and vocational training opportunities for skilled and unskilled workers for university graduates and institutes. It also supports small projects and helps the projects that were affected by the aggression against the Gaza Strip.
He added, " www.eg2020.PS " is a the online registration site for supporting living gains and providing job opportunities for tens of candidates"
He followed; " the transparent system is effective in registration and data management, where it provides feedback for the candidates, collects data about skills education of the candidates, plus the level of marginalization and poverty of the family and the conditions of health and other standards. "
He indicated that the system balances between the skills and majors of beneficiaries in all fields. He explained that it also balances the workers and the graduates of small institute, industries, agricultural institutes, and K.Gs.
He asserted that the project will provide them with training opportunities and technical supports for the beneficiaries.
Mr.Jack said;" the project provides youth and women who want to create small projects with grants through training them on creating small projects and affording grants to start."
He followed; " The program also provides small grants for the project affected by the last aggression against Gaza, aiming to repair or expand it."
He noted that within the temporary job program there will be cooperation among all the service sectors depending on the evaluation of the need assessment and the data of employees sector.
He also sheds the light on the features of the project that made it special including, Transparency, Integrity, and effectiveness of registration, selection of beneficiaries, technical support, training, needs response of all sectors, accountability and Responsibility promotion through feedback and references within the program.
He ensured that the program seeks to enable the marginalized and vulnerable groups of people through training, promoting their vocational skills to suit the needs of labour by the five coming years.
He indicated that there's a plan for each program, as the project will include basic services for skilled and unskilled workers. It targets within the five coming years 10135 jobless people. The vocational training for graduates targets 2100 one. 900 including men and women will be trained on creating small projects, where the best 600 Feasibility studies will be selected. 120 projects that were affected will be supported too.
