Gaza, 8/11/2016 --- Press House- Palestine organized on Tuesday a workshop about the laws of journalists and media work.
The workshop, which targeted 15 journalists of both gender, was led the lawyer Baker Al-Turkan, coordinator of complaints unit& investigation in Independent Commission for Human Rights in the Gaza Strip.
Turkmany talked about the conceptions of media work, and the laws including prints and publication, sentences, procedures and infraction laws.
He also discussed the legal caveats of journalists and corruption issues, as well as the tools of evidence for the journalists upon law and the methods protecting journalists.
Worth noting that this workshop came within Capacity Building program and the activities of Enhancing Freedom of Expression, Democracy& Independency of media project funded by the Swiss and Norwegian".
