Gaza, 26/09/2016--- Press House- Palestine concluded a training course entitled" Journalistic Investigation Skills".
The course targeted 10 journalistic working in different media outlets, in a total of 15 hours for three days.
The course was led by the trainer Fadu Al-Hasany, who discussed on the first day the differences between investigative reports and other sorts of journalism, the capability to evolve ideas to stories and investigative reports, and how to build hypothesis of investigative reports.
The second day was about how to prepare and depend on the methodology of investigation, methods of data collection from internets, documentation, data analysis, and table creation, as well as the electronic maps.
On the third day of the course, the trainer explained much about field documentation, impression and notes recording, communication skills of investigative journalists in presenting a story, the legality of publishing data and photos, and the right to response in an ethical way.
The course also included practical trainings, where samples of investigative reports were displayed.
Worth noting that this training course came within Journalistic Capability Building Program and " Enhancing Freedom of Expression, Democracy& Independency of Palestinian Media" project, which is funded by Swiss and Norwegian Governments.
