Gaza. 27/4/2016--- In cooperation with Press House- Palestine, 28 Magazine opened "Marakeb" exhibition for the artist Malak Matar at the headquarter of the organization in Gaza city.
The exhibition included26 paintings, distinguished by its beautiful colors, and the expressive faces Matar highlighted through the painting within her first exhibition.
A large number of people attended the exhibition, where they expressed their admiration of the paintings displayed inside the exhibition.
The artist Malak, aged 16 years old, said" My objective of the exhibition is to deliver a message to the audience that the art is not complex at all, it is a simple manner of life, and the only solution for us to beautify our lie, especially within the hard situations that the Palestinian society are going through.
About the title of the exhibition" Marakeb", the artist explained that the names is inspired by each painting, whose views are composite and take the viewers wherever they want to go in their imagination. She added that she aspires of advancing her talent through traveling outside and exchanging expertise with the worldwide artists, as well as participating in international exhibitions.
In his turn, Mohammad Al-Shaer, the executive director of the magazine, said that magazine has been seeking to form a cultural art platform since its establishment, that presents each talented and educated Palestinian by the magazine and officially organizes activities with the organizations of the civil society.
Al-Shaer added that organizing "Marakeb" exhibition came within our massage of the magazine, which is to support those artists who lack support from places that are supposed to show interests in their talents and arts, and to show the society what kind of art they present.
