Gaza, 29/8/2015 --- "Deerna Youth " team organized a photo gallery for " My country is beautiful" initiative in cooperation with Press House- Palestine at its place on Saturday.
The gallery included almost 20 photos of different places and monuments in Gaza Strip , which had been taken by journalists from various media outlets during the trip the team organized on 8th August 2015.
Belal Jadallah, the board of directors, welcomed the guests, noting that the organization seeks to support media youth through funding these initiatives , which aim at enhancing the roles of youth in the community.
In his turn, Hassan Abu- Safar , the initiative coordinator said that the initiative calls for more attention to Gaza strip archaeological places, which have been marginalized recently as well as more projects to be implemented for them.
Abu Safar thanked Press House for funding the initiative and leading to reviving archaeological places issue and helping the youth get to know some archaeological sites of their homeland.
The ceremony also included displaying a documentary film , showing some archaeological sites done by the journalist AsmaNassar, directed by Salsabil Zain Eldeen, and some photos of the trip which the team organized as well as some news reports about the archaeological sites.
Worth mentioning that this initiative was funded by Press House – Palestine within "Capacity Building of Journalists" Program activities under “Enhance Freedom of Expression, Democracy, & Independency of Palestinian Media” Project, funded by the Swiss and Norwegian
