Gaza, 20/8/2015 --- Press House – Palestine hosted a workshop about "journalists role in facing corruption”, organized by "Hope eye" youth team at its place on Thursday.
The workshop targeted 30 journalists, where Karm Nashwan - Human right activist -, Yahya Almadhoon - Students affairs coordinator at Alzhar university -, Naser Abu fool - the manager of the Palestinian Media Network -, and Hesham Hassona - the director of public relations in Data company - were hosted.
Some panelists stressed on the importance of Journalists role in discovering corruption issues and dealing with them from media and human rights sides, clarifying that press is considered, especially after the technology revolution, as an essential weapon against corruption, where social media plays the same role.
At the end of the workshop, the door of discussion was opened for any questions.
