Gaza, 8/6/2015 --- Press House – Palestine hosted a workshop titled “Violations against Journalists in Palestine” in cooperation with Youth Radio Online, Al Mawasi Agricultural Cooperative Association-Rafah, and the Palestinian Network for Media.
The workshop hosted Hekmat Youssef – representing Press House, Dr. Hassan Dohan – a journalist working for Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, Salama Marof – general director of government information office, Zyad Elnada – chairman of Al Mawasi board of directors, Dr. Ahmad Hammad – lecturer at media department at Al Aqsa University, and Nasser Abu Foul – head of Palestinian Network for Media, with the participation of nearly 40 journalists and interested lawyers.
At the beginning of the meeting, Youssef welcomed the guests; ensuring that Press House always seeks to enhance freedom of expression and gives extensive attention to media graduates.
Everyone stressed the importance of neutralizing the Palestinian journalists from political conflicts and protecting them to exercise their work freely to serve the Palestinian cause. At the end of the meeting, the discussion door was opened.
