Gaza, 20/5/2015 --- Press House – Palestine hosted a meeting titled “Together in Support for Prisoners in Israeli Prisons” which was organized by National and Islamic Forces Prisoners Committee at the organization’s main office in Gaza.
A group of journalists, prisoners’ families, and a number of released prisoners attended the meeting.
The meeting hosted Khalil Abu Shamallah – head of NGOs Network -, Tawfik Abu Naim – head of “Waed” for prisoners and released prisoners, the journalist Hassan Jaber, and the released prisoner Fouad Al Razem from Al Jehad movement.
They all stressed on the importance of dealing with prisoners’ issue away from political conflicts and on intensifying efforts to shed the light on their cause through international conferences.
They also called journalists to cover the cause of Palestinian prisoners by publishing their suffering on different media outlets.
