Gaza, 6/4/2015 --- Press House – Palestine concluded a training course in “International Quality Standards of Media Work”, with the participation of 25 journalists.
The 15-hour course continued for three consecutive days, from Saturday 4/4 to Monday 6/4, and delivered by the journalist “Ahmad Abu Amer”.
The first day included training on the international standards of writing news and news’ titles, as well as discussion of media work values, while the second day discussed the topics of writing news stories and news reports.
The last day included training on using inception words, punctuation, and practical implementation of the course’ topics through writing news stories. At the end of training, certificates were distributed among participants.
Worth mentioning that this course came as a part of “Enhancing Freedom of Expression, Democracy, and Independency of Palestinian Media” funded by the Swiss and Norwegian governments, and one of “Capacity Building of Journalists” program.
