Gaza, Saturday, 25th of October --- Press House – Palestine organized a press meeting with the minister of agriculture and social affairs “Shawqy Al-Eisa”, in the presence of a number of journalists and representatives of various media outlets.
The minister talked about the latest and main developments in Palestine and the efforts of the consensus government to accelerate the rebuilding of Gaza and solving the problem of the employees of Gaza’s previous government, ensuring that they’ll be paid before the end of this month.
Al-Eisa also talked about the government’s efforts in uniting the ministries and the administrative cadre.
The minster presented the work of the ministries of agriculture and social affairs, and the number of families who receive humanitarian aids by the ministry, which exceeded 114,000 families in Gaza and West Bank. He also pointed out to the direct and indirect losses of the agricultural sector in the Gaza Strip during the latest Israeli offensive which reached 452 million dollars.
Al-Eisa ensured that the government will hold its weekly meetings equally between West Bank and Gaza.
