On Monday, July 24, 2023, Press House - Palestine held a dialogue session on the topic "Fake News & Artificial Intelligence Techniques" in Khan Younis.
The session was presented by journalist Mohammed Abu Shahma, in the presence of a number of journalists, students and graduates of media colleges from the southern Gaza Strip.
Abu Shahma reviewed the modern technologies in artificial intelligence and how they were employed in the manufacture of misleading news, images and videos, and the mechanisms of detecting them using various tools and programs.
The meeting included a number of interventions that focused on ways to reduce misleading news by using artificial intelligence technologies, and ways to detect and limit its spread.
