Gaza - Press House
On Thursday, February 17, 2022, the media thinkers team held a workshop entitled "Introduction to the Photography Field”.
The workshop took place at Press House – Palestine (BAS) in the Gaza City, with consideration of high prevention measures to prevent the outbreak of COVID 19, with presence of the photographer Ali AlAswad, in addition to the attendance of about 15 students from the media colleges in the Gaza Strip and those interested in the field of photography.
The workshop was opened by the director of Media Thinkers Team, Wala’a Ghboun, who mentioned that photography can be pursued as a hobby rather than a profession because a large percentage of people around the world own smartphones with high-resolution cameras, which enabling them to shoot professionally and display images on a large scale.
From his part, AlAswad, the photographer, reviewed the fundamentals of photography starting with the main parts of the camera and its internal settings, as well as types of photography, indicating correct ways on which the photographer is based in different places and times of photography.
