Gaza - Press House
On November 18, 2021, Under Press House Sponsorship, a book signing ceremony on HadeKat Al Sekan (The Garden of Legs) for the Palestinian writer Mahmoud Jouda which was held at resort of Gaza Municipality, with a number of writers, poets, intellectuals, journalists (women and men).
Mr. Mahmoud Jouda said “The novel talks about young men who's their legs were amputated during Great March of Return at Gaza Strip borders and what they suffered from is inside the novel”.
The book signing ceremony was held via two sessions: the first session, in presence of Ms. Rawan Al Sourani "Journalist", Dr. Ihab Bseiso "Former Minister of Culture", and Mr. Rezk Al Mz'ann "Writer", to talk and present their perspectives in the novel.
The second session, in presence of Mr. Mohammed Al Baba, Mr. Attia Darwish (two injured journalists) and Ms. Aya Rizk, wife of martyr Ahmed Al Odeni, talked about testimonies during the coverage of Great March of Return at Gaza Strip borders.
At end of ceremony, the writer Jouda was signed the novel and the attendance got a copy with thanks letters from the writer.
