Press House hosts a workshop on the topic of “Implications of the Current Economic Situation on Universities Students"

On Monday, June 28, 2021, the national campaign calling to reduce university fees held a workshop on the topic of "Implications of the Current Economic Situation on Universities Students " at Press House - Palestine in the Gaza City.

With high prevention measures to prevent the outbreak of COVID 19, the workshop was held in Gaza City, with participation of a number of professors and students from different universities in the Gaza Strip.

Ms. Somia Al Zard opened the workshop, with presence of Deputy of Ministry of Higher Education Mr. Ayman Al Yazori, Mr. Ala’a Skafi, Director of Aldameer Organization for Human Rights, Mr. Bilal Al Ghalban, Deputy of Universities File Officer at Islamic Association and Mr. Nasser Abu Al Ata’a, Dean of Student Affairs at Al Aqsa University.

The workshop addressed the most important challenges which the Gaza Strip facing and the impacts on educational sector, trying to find responsive solutions and alternatives for this crisis.

The workshop included a number of participations from the participants which focused on finding real solutions about the universities crisis and work to end the crisis of closing students’ profile and discuss universities mechanisms being adopted to release the outstanding certificates.
