Gaza-Press House
On Sunday, February 28, 2021, a session was held to discuss the Press House initiative on a draft of journalistic honor code for media coverage of the Palestinian elections, in the presence of representatives of press frameworks, media institutions, and writers at the headquarters of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate in the Gaza Strip.
Mr. Belal Jadallah, General Director of Press House, presented an explanation about the initiative and its objectives. Then the first copy of the code was distributed among the attendees, and they offered their notes and inquiries about the honor code.
At the end of the discussion session, the attendees agreed to discuss together the final copy of the honor code which will be announced through a press conference.
It's noteworthy that the Journalistic honor code for covering the Palestinian Elections is an initiative launched by Press House – Palestine in order to prepare the atmosphere for the Palestinian elections from a media view.
