Press House organizes a cultural meeting on the topic of “Ways to Enhance Cultural & Literary Writing in the Palestinian Media”

On Tuesday February, 2, 2021 Press House - Palestine (BAS) organized a cultural meeting on the topic of “Ways to Enhance Cultural & Literary in the Palestinian Media” within Press House Cultural Club activities as part of “Strengthening Free & Independent Media in Palestine” projects activities funded by the Norwegian and the Swiss Governments.

With consideration of high preventive measures to prevent the outbreak of COVID19, Mr. Atef Al-Dorah, Founder of Dar Al Kalima for Publishing, Mr. Yousri Al-Ghoul, writer, Eng. Mohammed Abo Al-Qomboz, a specialist in Digital Marketing, and a group of Palestinian writers participated in the meeting.

Mr. Yousri Al-Ghoul opened the session indicating to his experience in literary and cultural writings and how he promoted his works by using thrill items on social media platforms. He emphasized on the important role of media in promoting the cultural writing and the literary writing by explaining the ways to cover the literary and cultural works in media.

From his part, Mr. Abo Al- Qomboz talked about promoting the literary and cultural works digitally by using social media platforms, as writers can publish their cultural works with the least possibilities and costs.

Mr. Atef Al-Dorah talked about the importance of literary and cultural writing in recovering the world attention to the Palestinian issue by highlighting the Israeli occupation violations against the Palestinians.

The meeting included many participations and recommendations from participants; most of them focused on the role of digital media in promoting the cultural and literary writing correctly.
