Press House hosts a signing ceremony for two novels of the writer Hani Al-Salmi

On Wednesday, December 30, 2020, Press House – Palestine (BAS) hosted a discussion and signing ceremony for two novels of the writer Hani Al-Salmi.

With consideration of high preventive measures to prevent the outbreak of COVID-19, a group of writers, intellectuals, journalists, media professionals and interested people participated in the ceremony‎.

Ms. Nesrin Youssef, facilitator of the ceremony, welcomed the audience and reviewed the events that the writer went through while writing their details.

From his part, writer Hani Al-Salmi spoke about some excerpts of the novel "The Lame Jew" and the novel "The Last Christian" and the historical events that it holds which talk about some Palestinian issues.

Mr. Nasser Atallah, a member of the General Secretariat of the Palestinian Writers Union, said that the novel "The Lame Jew" recounts the history of Gazans, and various Palestinian phenomena and issues under Israeli occupation.

In the novel "The Last Christian", the poet Nasser Rabah pointed out the points of difference and excellence found in this novel, the writer merged separate paintings with the characters in, so that each character embodies a particular issue.

In conclusion, the attendees expressed their happiness to complete the signing of the novels "The Lame Jew" and "The Last Christian", under the current circumstances in the Gaza Strip as a result of the spread of the Coronavirus.
