Press House concludes two workshops on the topic of 'Design and Editing in Development of News Agencies'

On Saturday, October 17, 2020, Press House- Palestine (BAS) concluded two workshops on the topic of "Design and Editing in Development of News Agencies", via "Zoom" application, as a part of Strengthening Free & Independent Media in Palestine ‎Project ‎activities‏.‏, in collaboration with MA'AN Development Center and the Society of Women ‎Graduates in the Gaza Strip, as part of the activities of the Youth Partnership ‎Forum project‏. ‏

The facilitator of workshops was‎ Eng. Ahmed Shaqura, in the presence of 80 ‎participants of a group of students and graduates of the faculties of journalism and ‎media in the Gaza Strip‏.‏

Mr.  Ahmed Shaqura has explained the content of the workshop and the ways in which it contributed to creating creative ideas for the development of media on social media sites until it became digital.

Mr. Shaqura pointed out that the use of (infographics, image and video processing) contributed a lot to the attention of the public to social networking sites, so that the sites and news agencies became dependent on it in the recent period.

Mr. Shaqura noted that media organizations are now looking for a "comprehensive journalist", who is aware of many journalistic skills such as photography, news writing, editing, photoshop, as well as making digital content on social media and news sites.

Mr.shaqura concluded the workshop by answering the participants' questions, which focused on how to develop and refine their skills to the right ways to present it to the public through various social networking sites.
