Press House Concluded a Training Course in  ‎"Journalistic  Story Writing"‎

On Thursday, 18 June 2020,  Press House – Palestine concluded "Journalistic  Story Writing" training course, the training lasted to five training days with a total of25 hours and provided by the Journalist Alaa Abu Aisha.

The training course targeted 16 trainees (from both sex) who work in the field of press and media. On the first day, the trainer focused on the concept of the story and a summary about the history and origin of this art and the reasons for its existence. .

The first day also included talking about key elements of the story and the conditions to be met in a journalist who wants to write a journalistic story and how to write it.

On the second day, Ms. Abu Aisha talked about the general reviews of the story and how to write introductions that fit the title of the story and the types of templates used in writing the story.

The course also included modeling stories and provided a ready-made template to help trainees writing the Journalistic story.

During the course of “Journalistic  story writing”, each trainee prepared a story that was discussed and assessed during the course.

Three winning Journalistic stories were announced at the end of the course and Press house provided a reward money for the winners.

First-place winner: Ms. Saja Hamdan

Second-place winner: Ms. Rafif Eslim

Third-place winner: Mr. Ali Dola

This training course is part of "Strengthening Free and Independent ‎Media in Palestine" project, funded by the Swiss and Norwegian ‎governments.‎
