On Monday, 16 June 2020, The Literary Salon “Noon”, a "feminist intellectual literary intellectual group", celebrated its 19th anniversary at Press House west of Gaza City, in the presence of a group of writers, intellectuals, and amateurs.
The ceremony included a review of the activities of Salon Noon presented by Mrs. Fathia Sarsour Officer-in-charge of Salon. She briefed the meetings, literary and cultural seminars were implemented during past years and included large numbers of interested people, intellectuals, writers, and poets.
"We light our 19th candle to keep the Literary of Salon Noon a beacon of culture and literature," Sarsour said in her speech.
For her part, Dr. May Nayef, one of the salon's founders, said that this concert had to be bigger and wider, but the Covid-19 pandemic forced us to limit the concert and decrease the number of audience in order to ensure common safety and in accordance with the procedures.
During the concert, artistic groups performed national music and poetry, celebrating the 19th anniversary of the founding of Salon Noon.
