On Sunday, Under the patronage of the Press House - Palestine, the youth journalists team held a dialogue meeting, entitled "Legal Rights of Journalists ... Between Reality and Expectations”.
The meeting was hosted by the Human Rights Activist, Mohammed Abu Hashim, who talked about the violations against Palestinian journalists and the rights prescribed by the Palestinian law to protect the journalists.
The meeting was attended by female and male students and media college’s graduates of the Palestinian universities, besides members of the media youth groups affiliated with the Press House Foundation.
The meeting discussed the role of human rights organizations in Palestine in defending the rights of journalists and raising their awareness about their rights and freedoms. He also discussed the means that journalists can resort to in the case of any violation that affected the rights guaranteed by law.
This meeting is part of a series of activities implemented by the Press House Foundation to target its affiliated media youth groups to raise their awareness and develop their media capabilities.
