Press House - Palestine, in collaboration with Effects for Consolation and Development on Tuesday, 28/11/2018, held a meeting within the framework of a survey entitled "The reality of media in Palestine".
The aim of the meeting was to study the reality of journalism and media sectors in Gaza Strip by measuring the satisfaction level of journalism and media faculties, its outcome, and its effects on unemployment, the market and career of graduates as well as the effectiveness of media organizations.
The meeting was attended by a group of students and graduates of journalism and media faculties of the Palestinian universities in Gaza, as well as journalists working in the field.
The meeting included a broad discussion to explore the participants' views on the reality of journalism and search for ways to enhance it. They also discussed the gap between educational curricular of media colleges and the requirements of the labor market.
