Press House – Palestine has conducted an awareness workshop on Thursday, 10th May, 2018 about “Gender” and its sensitivity.
The workshop, which was attended by the specialist in democracy and human rights 'Azza Qasim', and targeted a group of journalists, jurists and graduates of media colleges.
During the workshop, Qasim addressed key pillars related to the gender, and its conception, as well as the factors influence the gender, in addition to the difference between sex and gender affecting gender and she discussed the various roles such as Social, Political, Reproductive and Productive roles.
This workshop comes up as a part of the project “Enhancing the Freedom of Expression and the Quality and Independency of the Palestinian Media "which is being carried out by the press house and funded by the Norwegian and Swiss Governments.
