Gaza, 05/10/2017--- The activities of the national campaign for breast cancer awareness. This came within the kick of the campaign organized by Hope Smile Association for Cancer Patients, under the motto "Our Hands together, we Help you to Check" in cooperation with Press House, the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the Arab Rehabilitation hospital, Free Thinking&culture Association, " Japalia" for Women Health Center, " Bureij Woman Health Center, Shifa Asssociation for Cancer Patients, Samer Association, the Palestinian Association& National Center for Cancer Patients at the headquarter of the Press House in Gaza city.
Mona Al-Alamy, Member of Board for Hope Smile, confirmed that they gather in this month on the purpose of supporting all efforts and alleviating the spread of breast cancer.
She added; " within the situations we are passing by, we have to work seriously to overcome the trials the cancer patients face."
She noted that some types of breast cancer can be prevented and others can be cured if detected early.
She explained that the organization always seeks to support cancer patients through the various programs. " The power they have been working on during the last years was focused on the various services presented to cancer patients.
She praised all efforts of all partners, national and NGO organization for cooperation to present distinctive services to this group.
In her turn, Dr.Ayda Hellis asserted that the ministry cares to present the services for all population especially breast cancer patients.
She noted that there's a positive point the Ministry of Health focuses on which is checking and early detection as well as chemical and surgery treatment.
She declared the provision of a "digital manugram" for early detection of the disease at the Remal Clinic of the Ministry of Health, and all women above the age of 40 will be hosted for examination.
Hallas called on all women to go and book a date for examination and diagnosis, without any financial return, and no health insurance is required.
In his turn, the medical director of Basma Amal, Ziad Al Khazendar, stressed on the necessity early detection for women and on the participation of centers and doctors in such campaigns.
He said: "America has 200,000 cases a year infected, which is considered as a large part of the health ministries of the whole world, and in Gaza, 31% of cancer patients are suffering from breast cancer."
In his speech on behalf of the Arab Ahli Hospital, Mohammed al-Nakqa extended tribute and appreciation to the group of breast cancer patients, saying: "This group which triumphed over the disease by Will represents my mother and I do belong to them."
Al-Naqa stressed on the necessity of paying attention to the more frightening Alzheimer's disease than breast cancer, which has recently spread and is very dangerous.
He appealed all concerned to help women and the Palestinian mothers all around the areas.
