Gaza, 01/10/2017--- The leaders of the electronic channel" Our Country" announced the kick off of the channel on " Youtube and Facebook" within a ceremony held on Sunday in the Press House-Palestine.
The ceremony was attended by Salama Ma'rouf, Head of Governmental Media Office in Gaza, Belal Jadallah- Head of Press House- Ahmad Said, Head of Directors of Channel, and a number of legal and media personalities.
During his Speech, Belal Jadallah thanked the attendees, confirming the readiness of Press House to support any media work.
Jadallah said; " This occasion is special to the Press House, we are proud to launch this event at the place of the Press House." He wished them all the best in the possitve atmosphere of the reconciliation.
In his turn, Ma'rouf, Head of Governmental Media Office, congratulated the leaders of the channel and wished them all the best in delivering the media message.
Ma'rouf mentioned that a number of media outlets in the Gaza Strip has risen within the last years, which reflects the freedom given to all despite the obstacles.
He called on all journalists and media organizations to lead a positive role in enhancing the national unity, saying " Media is able to provide safety to the reconciliation."
In his turn, Ahmad Said, the Head of Channel, talked about the mission, goals and programs that the channel will present to the audience.
He mentioned that the leaders of this work aim at delivering the media message to the audience with the modern means, stressing that it will be a voice for the poor, vulnerable and creative groups in Gaza.
He also said that the channel will present a news release per hour in order to inform the audience of all events, clarifying that their plan includes political, sport, social, cultural and entertainment programs of an elite group of journalists.
The ceremony was included a number of programs like poems and songs.
In his turn, Hasan Hamouda, Head of Independent Palestinian People Assembly, wished the workers of the channel all the best, confirming the needs of Palestinians for such channels like this especially under such miserable circumstances.
