Gaza/18/5/2016--- Press House- Palestine concluded a training course, entitled" Media Information Security".
The three-day course targeted 25 journalists and social media activists of both gender in a total of 15 training hours.
Bethany Horne, the trainer, talked about the standards of using electronic applications in protecting the data and other sources of journalists .
She also explained data security of journalists and how to keep in touch on internet by using specific free open-source programs.
Such practical exercises were applied during the course, where the participants were divided into groups, teaching them how to deal with such electronic applications.
A big number of the participants praised the training course, asking Press House for more courses, especially those which journalists lack.
At the end of the course, certificates were distributed among the participants .
Worth noting that this course came within " Journalists Capacity Program" and the activities of " Enhance Freedom of Expression, Democracy& Independency of Media " project, funded by the Swiss and Norwegian Governments.
