Gaza – Press House
On Thursday, January 28, 2021, Press House - Palestine (BAS) organized an introduction meeting for participants in the on-job-training program, this training is within “Strengthening Free & Independent Media in Palestine” project activities, funded by the Norwegian and the Swiss Governments.
With consideration of high preventive measures to prevent the outbreak of COVID19, the meeting was held in Press house office for media graduates who chosen after passing the written assessment and personal interviews, to introduce them the goals of the program, also the stages of the selection process for participants.
From her part, the coordinator of Strengthening Free and Independent Media in Palestine project highlighted the most significant achievements of the on-job-training program beneficiaries during 2020 in terms of number of the published news and numbers of readings, also, she mentioned the expected results from participants in the program.
Press House implementing the on-job-training program for new journalists (women and men) at Sawa news agency to increase the numbers of the independent journalists in Palestine also to increase the level of accessibility of community members to an independent, professional and transparent information.
