The Center for Civil Society Studies carried out Thursday 19-12-2019 a focal group in cooperation with the Palestine Press House to contribute to the completion of a study entitled "the impact of Palestinian splitting on the reality of Youth", which aims to study the state of political participation of youth in Palestine.
He spoke in the group attended by youth and young women, researcher Saif Abu Saqr and his assistant Omar Saad, where he discussed the study that monitors the state of the youth political participation and low representation in decision-making centers.
They also spoke of the favorable proportion of youth participation, especially young women, and the approach that has succeeded in recruiting young women and young women in parties, focusing on the importance of better addressing gender inequality and women's empowerment.
The participants also discussed the situation of youth and the impact of the Palestinian division on it, and presented some suggestions to a number of decision-making centers such as the Legislative Council, leading parties and civil society institutions, hoping to support them in reinforcing the role of youth in political participation.
