From Press House: Al-Isra University announces the beginning of the events of its second international conference

Al-Isra University announced the starting date of its events for the second international conference, entitled "The League of Arab States and the Palestinian Cause", on the fifth and sixth of February next year.

The university said in a press conference held in the Press House in Gaza that the aim of this conference is identifying the role of the League of the Arab States as a regional and international organization and its relationship with the Palestinian cause.

Moreover, they confirmed that the abstracts will be delivered to interested researchers starting from 01/08/2018 until 30/8/2018 to the following e-mail [email protected]. It is worth mentioning that they will adopt Arabic, English and French languages in the Conference. The final copy of the research should be delivered on 30 / 11/2018 and the accepted researches will be announced on 15/12/2018.

In the conference, they pointed out that the delivered researches will be subject to the scientific conditions operated in the Journal of Al-Isra University for Humanities. In addition, they referred to the main themes that will be discussed at the conference as follows:

First: The role of the League of Arab States towards the Palestinian issue in the light of regional and international changes (challenges and opportunities).

Second: The role of the League of Arab States towards the Palestinian struggles.

Third: The role of the League of Arab States' institutions that support the Palestinian cause.

Fourth: The League of Arab States and the political settlement under the Arab peace initiative.

Fifth: The Palestinian strategy towards the League of Arab States.

Sixth: The future of the League of Arab States and mechanisms to activate it in favor of the Palestinian cause.

The university added that the conference scientific committee includes 48 scientists in the Islamic and international worlds. Also, the preparatory committee consists of 36 members of the most competent specialists in organizing international scientific conferences.

The University hopes that this conference would be an extension of its efforts to enhance the role of scientific research in Palestine and researchers to participate actively in local and international scientific conferences.
