Gaza/  Media Graduates have sparked another issue, which burdens this trapped city. They got themselves jobless after a very long and tiring journey of studying as a result of the crammed institutions which are not able to hire more employees. What makes it worse is the rising number of   journalism students at the various universities of Gaza .

Hiring the well-qualified graduates is something like inevitable. Which means that those who had not worked on themselves so hard will never find a place to work at, rather they will be desperately considered in the unemployment hell.

Despite of this desperation, some solutions start to take place to eliminate the virus of  "unemployment", where creating media youth was one of them as an attempt to boost fresh media graduates skills under well-qualified journalists supervision .

" Free Gaza" and " Youth view " , which Press House welcomed and hosted, are putting their actions into plans to prove that unemployment will never block their ways to success.

Each member of the two teams is a fresh media graduate, but after getting involved in the media organizations activities, they become more qualified to the extent that they could easily find a place to work at with no problem to face.

"Free Gaza" team was formed one year ago and it includes 13 fresh media graduates, of whom  some become professional in photography and other in journalism writing, or preparing reports.

Ahmad Al-Halaby, Free Gaza team coordinator, said," all of the team's members have the required abilities to work at any media institution.

He said that the members took many courses and participated in many workshops, and organizing a media week that targeted media students was one of his achievements.

In cooperation with Press House, the team organized a media project one month later, aimed to boost the media youth capabilities. Moving from training spot to start making, they made a pile of visits to international and local institution as what Ahmad mentioned.

Moreover, the team designed a website for the current news, trying to cover the uprisings that were launched in West Bank and Jerusalem at the beginning of October till now. In fact, they consider themselves as an essential part of Press that is in charge of others' affairs.

During the violent clashes, erupted between Gazan people and the Israeli occupation in the Al-Sheja'eya border, two groups of the team participated to hold a live coverage of what was happening there. As a result of that, two of them got injured; one was shot and the other was fired by tear gas bomb.

" Youth View" team, led by Hassan Samara has been peeped one year and half ago to be another success story.

Hassan Samara, the leader of the team, said " the team contributed to turning the normal media students well-rounded beings that are able to conduct media works under supervision of qualified journalists through training courses, workshops and galleries in cooperation with Press House organization.

He pointed out that Press House financially supported the team when implementing a media initiative that targeted 100 media students of various universities, where certificates from the Ministry of Information were distributed to the participants.

Hanan Al-anqah, one of the team members, was asked by a broadcast to be working at it after noticing her achievements during her participation in the team.

To face fact, the hosting organization and the youth media team paved the way to success for Hanan to be what she was looking forward to.
