Mezher Accuses Influentials in Fateh & Hamas of Disrupting Reconciliation

Gaza, Mon Feb 17 --- Sponsored by Press House-Palestine, youth journalists' team organized a meeting with the member of the political bureau of the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Mr. Jameel Mezher.

Mezher accused influentials from Fateh & Hamas of disrupting reconciliation; to guarantee the continuity of financial and economic self interests.

He emphasized that PFLP intends to organize a public conference that will result in the formation of a monitoring committee; to develop a plan for organizing events and activities; to force both Fateh & Hamas to end the division.

He criticized the policy of pacification and exclusivity of decision making at the resistance level, noting that the latest truce agreement sponsored by the isolated Egyptian president Mohammed Morsy has well served Israel while harmed the resistance; as for the first time, resistance was described as "Hostile Acts".

He pointed out that the alternative to the truce with the occupation is the formation of a unified resistance front that will work to resist and confront the occupation.

Mezher also criticized Mahmoud Abbas' meeting with the Israeli students, saying: "the meeting falls in the category of normalization, and is a slap for anyone struggling to isolate Israel."

He expressed PFLP rejection to such meetings, denying its importance in changing the orientation of Israeli people; who live under conditions of extremism and rightist.

Mr. Jameel called for investing all the efforts towards isolating Israel, and supporting international and institutional attempts in this direction.

He also called the leadership for the withdrawal from the ongoing negotiations and resisting the American pressure and extortion, refusing Kerry's proposed agreement.

Mezher called for a public movement; to face the plots around Palestine run by the United States, warning from the danger of Kerry's agreement and from admitting the Jewish state; which means the obliteration of the Palestinian identity and the deprivation of refugees from their right to return.

He accused the United States with obvious favoritism to Israel, calling Palestinian leadership to withdraw from negotiations, and orienting to international organizations; to realize their national rights, establish an independent Palestinian state and punish the occupation for its daily crimes against Palestinians.
