Qassem also touched on the impact of economic, political and social systems on the distribution of roles of men and women in society, and the changes occurred in the culture of society, which imposed some of the prevailing social concepts in our current time.

There were intense discussions among the participants, which dealt with the terminology and misconceptions circulated by the society about the relationship of women and men fraught with the effects imposed by the bad economic and political conditions in Gaza.

This workshop is part of a series of activities and events conducted by the Press House targeting young media groups affiliated to the institution, to raise awareness and involve them and develop their media capabilities.
