Gaza, 29/03/2017--- Press House concluded on Wednesday a training course on “ Utilizing Social Media Tools in Advocacy”.
The four-day course- for a total of 20 training hours, led by the trainer Soltan Goha, targeted 15 media male and females.
The course covered many topics including how to utilize social media tools in advocacy, how to create a content, and methods of creating information.
The course successful media campaigns mechanisms, and a practical training, where the participants created a media campaign, created its content, and be trained on the methods of the effective publication.
The course also covered a technical side regarding the mobile applications to create mobile info graphics and using them in promoting the campaign.
In his turn, the Member of Press House BOARD, Hekmat Yousef confirmed that the number of the course’s applicants was so big, where the selection process was done upon transparent criteria that guarantees professional outputs and clear outcome.
Yousef Expressed his happiness as the course included the practical side, wishing that all the participants could apply what they have learned from the training in promoting the Palestinian cause, helping the professional media, and enhancing the dialogue and the internal unity as well.
At the end of the course, the participants have been awarded certificates of accomplishment.
Worth noting that this course came within “ Journalists Capacity Building Program” and one of the activities of “ Enhancing Freedom of Expression, the Quality and Independency of Media, project that is funded by the Norwegian and Swiss Governments.
