Gaza,29/5/2016--- Women Voice Radio concluded its program called "My Right", funded by Press House as a media initiative. The program included 8 radio workshops of the ideas of a groups of female activists, aiming to enhance the positive leadership role taken by Palestinian women in advocating other women, let them know their rights, achieve equality, and local gender justice .
The first workshop of the program was about the role of women in construction, where Adnan Abu-Hasna, the UNRWA spokesman, Zainab Al-Ghunaimy, human rights and women issues activist were hosted. The second workshop was about Breast Cancer, where Eman Shunan, Help& Hope Program For Cancer Patients Manger, Hesham Al-Mudllal, physiologist were hosted. The third was titled" Palestinian Women Role Via Media Outlets, where the journalists Mageda Al-Belbesi and Hanan Abu-Dghaim were hosted. The fourth was entitled " Palestinian Outputs Between Ambitions & Barriers In Palestinian Cinema, where the directors Ayda Al-Rawwagh and Mohammad Al-Buraey talked about . The fifth was about" Sexual Abuse", where Haneen Al-Samak, women activist- and the psychologist Doaa Hasouna talked about. Younes Al-Tahrawy, head of legal unit in The Palestinian Center For Democracy& Resolve Conflicts and the psychologist Samar Qweder were leading the sixth workshop. The seventh workshop was about " Women Unemployment", where "Six Girls" Team eas hosted. The last workshop of the program was about " Early Marriage", where the lawyer Ghassan Al-Qeeshawy, and Wesam Jouda, Advocacy Program Manager in Women Issues center" were hosed.
Worth noting that the "Right" Program, the media initiative funded by Press House , came within the activities of "Capacity Building Program" of " Enhancing Media of Expression, Democracy& Independency of Palestinian Media" Project, funded by the Swiss& Norwegian Governments.
