Gaza/ Press House-Palestine held on Tuesday 28/8/2013, a training course titled “Computer/Internet for Journalism and Technical terms” at its main office in Gaza.
This course comes as a part of Capacity Building of Journalists project, funded by the Swiss Government.
The 3-day training course targeted 20 journalism and media graduates who come from different Palestinian universities. The trainer, Dr. Nabeel Al Tahrawi, discussed with the students the issue of “New Media” in terms of differences in identifying a unified term.
Students participated in multiple group activities, during which they discussed the advantages and disadvantages of various media means.
It is worth mentioning that Press House-Palestine is an independent non-profit media organization which is neither representative nor has syndicate-like characteristics and is concerned with media issues and freedom of opinion and expression.
