Press House hosts an honoring ceremony and a Tweeting session

On Thursday, 5th.Dec.2019, the Culture and Free Thought Association held an honoring ceremony of the winners of the "My Story" competition, targeting women entrepreneurs who have exceptional entrepreneurial projects, at the headquarters of the Press House - Palestine, in the presence of a number of women activists in the field of women’s advocacy.

Two female entrepreneurs won the first and third ranks, while a male entrepreneur got the second rank, and the winning project ideas centered on wood painting, beekeeping and handicrafts, which were mastered by female hands.

Through this competition, which is part of the project "Empowering Women to Work Together for Change", the Culture and Free Thought Association seeks to enhance the role of women in making effective change in society and demonstrate their ability to creativity and achieve economic empowerment for them in light of the difficult economic conditions.

While the Women's Health Center, which is affiliated with the Culture and Free Thought Association, held a tweeting session on women's easy access to quality health services and their right to good quality of these services.

During the session, the participants tweeted using the #My Health-My Right Hashtag, during which they talked about the long wait that women experience while receiving health services as well as the lack of medicines they need, and stressed the non-discrimination in granting health services in gender, as precscribed by the humanitarian law that emphasizes on providing the protecticion and assistance.
