Press House concludes “The Comprehensive Journalist” Program with a final training course

On Thursday, the Press House- Palestine concluded the final fourth course of the comprehensive journalist program, which targeted 15 of male and female graduates of media colleges in the Gaza Strip.

The five-day training course was held from 14 to 18 July 2019, in the field of " TV Reports Preparation " by the Italian trainer Alberto Mussolini.

The trainer explained the methods and mechanisms of preparing TV reports, starting with coordination and then directing and choosing the footage to the editing level by using electronic programs.

During the training, each group of the trainees was able to prepare a joint TV report and presented it to the trainer to identify the strengths and weaknesses in order to exploit them properly and correct mistakes to help enriching the trainees knowledge.

The comprehensive Journalist program was launched on 16 June 2019. Where the program included four training courses as follows:

1- “Journalistic Editing” Training Course, Presented by the Lecturer Abd Al- Ghani Al- Shami.

2 – “Photography” Training Course, presented by the Journalist Noman Eshteiwi.

3 – “Preparing TV Reporter” Training Course, presented by the French trainers Antoine Marioti and Cecil Gallucio.

4 – “Preparing TV reports” Training Course, presented by the Italian trainer Alberto Mussolini and his assistant from Gaza, Joseph Hamash.

While at the end of the training, the Press House awarded prizes to the best five trainees during the course according to the evaluation of the trainers and the achievements of the students as follows:

In First place is Jamil Imad Qassem.

In Second place is Mayson Majed Al-Batsh.

In Third place is Hadeel Moeen Ammar.

In Fourth place is Mustafa Kamal Al-Mallahi.

In Fifth place is Samer Saadallah Zaneen.

The comprehensive Journalist program is part of “Towards an Independent Media Platform for Capacity building, Awareness, and Involvement of Journalists” Project, funded by the Norwegian and Swiss governments.
