On Sunday, December 30, 2018, Press House – Palestine hosted a press conference organized by the International Commission for Supporting Palestinian Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Palestine.

The International Commission (ICSPR) described 2018 as the worst year in terms of violating the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Commission called on the international community to carry out its responsibilities and duties to implement its resolutions guaranteeing the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, including resolutions that affirm the illegality of occupation and settlement.

It also demanded the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to turn the resolutions of the Arab and Islamic summits into practical measures to protect Palestinian rights and support the struggle of the Palestinians.

During the conference, ICSPR called on the institutions of the presidency and the government to take advantage of the Egyptian efforts and take clear decisions to stop the collective action opposed on Gaza Strip.

At the end of the conference, ICSPR encouraged the forces and components of the Palestinian people to move and act immediately to protect their public interest and to fight any attempt of separation.
