Press House – Palestine launched a media campaign to promote freedom of expression in the Palestinian society and to raise awareness of its right of expression and its responsibilities towards freedom of expression under the title "Freedom of expression is a right and responsibility".
The media campaign included the publication of billboards in all five governorates of Gaza Strip with the slogan "Yes to freedom of expression"," Everyone has the right to hold opinions without harassment" and " Everyone has the right of freedom of expression."
In addition, a radio spot was held to promote the community's knowledge of its right and responsibility towards freedom of expression. Through this campaign, they also are organizing a roundtable meeting of journalists and graduates of media colleges with activists and human rights institutions of Gaza Strip.
The media campaign will conclude with a tweeting session on all social media platforms, with the aim of raising the awareness of the Palestinian community about their right to express their opinion and their responsibilities towards freedom of expression.
