The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor launched the Women's Leadership Incubator project, which includes a group of raising-awareness activities within a 16-day campaign to resist violence against women.

The event, which was hosted by Press House - Palestine, included a group of activists, bloggers, social media activists, some employees of the Euro-Mediterranean Monitor and university students in a tweeting campaign on social media sites entitled "Orange World" within "Make it Orange" hashtag in order to create a world free of violence.

Why orange was chosen as a symbol of the campaign? Nada Abu Eita, the media coordinator for the Women's Leadership Incubator project, said that orange color has a psychological effect that renounces violence and its methods.

The organizers of the campaign seek to reach the largest number of young people at a local level in order to support women and their rights and to renounce violence and its means and methods.

The campaign included distributing raising-awareness posters at youth and men in cafes, restaurants, bakeries and transportation.
